Chase Fairbanks
Chase leads Tailwater Fly Co. as a guide and casting instructor based in Sedona, Arizona. Originally from Kansas, he brings more than 14 years of fly fishing experience, a background in athletic rehabilitation at Kansas State University, and a fly-tying habit that goes back to high school.
In Sedona, Chase built the Fly Fishing Fundamentals program at Sedona's Rainbow Trout Farm — the only structured, education-focused angler program of its kind in Arizona. With hundreds of hours devoted to casting dynamics and aquatic entomology, he works with Trout Unlimited and the Arizona Game & Fish Department on education and outreach.
The goal on every trip is the same: you leave with fish in the basket and new skills in your back pocket.
